Hey is so adorable! I am so happy for you! I am so glad he is finally here! He is exactly eight months younger than Krew and Kynzi. How about that? Well congrats! Can't wait to come see you guys when we get home from St George! Love you all!!
Congratulations on your new bundle of joy!! He looks just like Keagan. Wow that's amazing how siblings resemble each other so much. We are sorry that we weren't able to make it up to see you guys. We were sad, we didn't have enough time. We were only up for two days and had one day for each side of the fam. We would still like to come and visit you though when we have more time to be there. Hope everything is going well for you!!
I saw this posted on a friends blog and thought it was a GREAT idea! Thanks Kate!
Kamrie going into the new Jr. High this year was "asked out" by an 8th grader. That's BIG since he's a grade older, on the football team and apparently really cute. However, when he asked her she replied, "I'm a Morman, and um NO." Poor kid, broke his little heart. But way to go Kamrie! Keep up that attitude until your 20 ok! :)
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day Keagan asked why he didn't have to go to school. I told him it was because it was Martin Luther King Day and he exclaimed "All the Martins are KINGS?"
I drive into the bank parking lot today and as I'm filling out my deposit slip Keagan decides he has to go pee. (RIGHT NOW!) So, I quickly finish filling out the slip and and say OK LET"S GO! And I hurry across the parking lot and to the doors of the bank. I'm looking all around and I'm thinking WOW he ran fast in to the bank! Just as I turn around I glance him pulling up his pants standing on the other side of the car in the parking lot. He had already gone. Mortified, I yell pull up your pants and get in the car! Luckily the teller only saw him pulling up his pants instead of the whole ordeal. My face was NEON RED walking into the bank and I'm sure didn't change until I got back outside. But everyone in the bank got a good laugh so at least we made someones day!
Keagan (my 6 year old) and I were standing in line at Maurices yesterday when he pipes off "She's HOT!" referring to the lady standing in line in front of us. Hopefully she didn't hear him but then again, it was a complement!
While eating lunch at Grandma and Grandpa Martins yesterday, Kamrie looks over at Papa and says Grandpa, you're beard is getting old. It's getting that salt and pepper look to it. Funny, that only his beard is getting old and not him. He He
I was telling the kids that Grandpa was coming over to fix the dryer. Kamrie goes, but he's SO OLD! How's he supposed to fix the dryer? I told her that the older you get, the more things you know, and she goes but you can't even help me with MY HOMEWORK!
The other day we were in the car and out of the blue Keagan starts crying and says mom you better get a babysitter for me when you go to Disneyland. Concerned I asked why and he says because I had a bad dream that a dinosaur was chasing me and Disneyland is where dreams come true!
We were in the library and I was trying to help Kamrie find some books she would like so i picked up a few and said what about these? Do you like these ones? Kamrie said no, they aren't for kids. They have swear words and stuff in them. And Keagan goes, Dad would like those. we can get em for him.
This one is kinda gross...but still kinda odd and funny. Where do kids come up with stuff like this? I was in the bathroom with Keagan when he was going potty and he tells me, you know that big guy that had a humungo pile of tickets at the arcade? What if I pooped THAT BIG?
Keagan was telling me that he didn't want to live in our house anymore because it has spiders. It's a spider house. He wanted to live in the temple because it doesn't have spiders. And Kamrie goes, uh huh they have spiders, they're just WHITE!
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will---to your surprise---miss them profoundly." President Monson
Andrew and I have been married for 10 years. We have 4 beautiful children. Kamrie is 10 and loves to draw, dance and ride her bike, Taylor is 8 and loves to dance and play outside with her brother and sister, our little "Keagan monster" likes to catch grasshoppers and bugs and pull their legs off, (every mother's dream) and our new addition, baby Kyler was born last November. We are so blessed to have our little family. We love spending time together. One of our favorites is to go to Wyoming and spend time in the Truck with Daddy.
